Whether you are an Art Deco historian or just discovering your passion for the era, we host distinctive events that will inspire and delight you. Our members enjoy activities that embrace the many aspects of Art Deco. These include lectures, private curated museum tours, film screenings, architectural tours, preservation awareness meetings, vintage dress events with live music from the era, and so much more. Please visit our Upcoming Events page to learn more about these great happenings!

New York City’s extensive wealth of Art Deco architecture and design, both iconic and lesser known, makes it the best city to explore the splendor of this style. We are currently creating a comprehensive registry of New York Art Deco buildings throughout the five boroughs to aid in the exploration and preservation of our Art Deco and Moderne treasures. You can utilize the New York Art Deco Registry & Map to create your own walking tours, view Deco in your area and so much more. We also invite you to participate in this exciting resource. If you know of a building that should be added, please contact us at Registry@ArtDeco.org.

In the spring of 2015, we launched our Documenting Deco outreach program for New York City students in classroom-based, extended day, or community based settings. This program provides young people with the tools to understand, appreciate and take pride in their surroundings, to discover Art Deco gems in their own neighborhoods, to better understand the importance of preservation and the landmarking process, and to be introduced to careers in a variety of related fields. For more information on this program please email us at Learn@ArtDeco.org.
