Andrew L. Berger worked in the financial services industry in New York, London, and Geneva, and practiced law in New York and Paris. He continuously strives to better ADSNY through establishing relationships with prestigious New York Institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Devon Caraher is a decorative arts and design historian and educator who focuses primarily on vintage and antique jewelry. She has developed and taught collegiate level curriculum examining the history of jewelry from the ancient world to present day. Previously, she worked as a Promotions Manager for Tiffany & Co. and is currently working as a Creative Consultant for Stephen Russell.
Lisa Easton has worked on the restoration of some of the New York Metropolitan Region’s most noteworthy landmarks. She has developed a reputation in the historic preservation field as an expert architect, planner, and historian. Her work consists of commercial, institutional, and residential projects set within urban and sub-urban settings. She teaches, lectures, and works to promote the integration of architecture and preservation.
Jared Goss is an independent art historian. Formerly an Associate Curator in the Department of Modern and Contemporary Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, he specialized in post-1900 design and architecture during his twenty-year career there. His 2009 exhibition, Masterpieces of French Art Deco, which drew over 600,000 visitors, inspired his book, French Art Deco. Mr. Goss has lectured internationally, taught at several American academic institutions, and has contributed essays and articles to numerous scholarly publications.
Rita Jakubowski is a collector of Art Deco design and after a long career in wealth management recently retired as a senior partner at Morgan Stanley.
Richard H. Lowe III has a background in fashion, public relations, and marketing. He has appeared on a number of television programs and is currently the Creative Director of Spiegel. Through his knowledge of public relations and marketing, he is consistently developing new creative and innovative ways to grow ADSNY.
Roberta Nusim is the current President of the Art Deco Society of New York. An educator, publisher, and marketer, she brings many of those skills to the organization of ADSNY’s many events. As a founder of the fifteen-year old Weiner Nusim Foundation and her service on the Boards of a number of 501c3 organizations, she has great knowledge of the not-for-profit organization world.
Anthony W. Robins is an architectural historian lecturer tour leader, and author who has been guiding natives and visitors to the city’s wonders for twenty-five years. As a founding member of ADSNY, he created the Society’s original tour program in 1981. He has lectured on New York history and architecture to audiences ranging from high school students to senior citizen groups, and from general audiences to university seminars in the United States and abroad.
Stephen H. Van Dyk currently heads the Smithsonian Libraries Art Department, and has worked in art, design, and architecture libraries for nearly forty years. With his vast experience in and knowledge of the field, Stephen has overseen the creation and development of the New York Art Deco Registry and Map.
